Redeemer Park

Go before us, O Lord, in all our doings with your most gracious favor, and further us with your continual help; that in all our works begun, continued, and ended in you, we may glorify your holy Name, and finally, through your mercy, obtain everlasting life, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. - A prayer for guidance, BCP 2019, pg. 669

Redeemer Park is a free community park located on the church grounds, owned and operated by Church of the Redeemer. The park will be available to the public featuring:

  • A 1/4 mile walking trail visible from all directions, with a smooth path perfect for strollers, walkers, or joggers

  • A pavilion with six picnic tables and two park-style grills for birthday parties or community events

  • A commercial playground

  • A swing set that includes two toddler seats and two youth seats

  • Two 40-feet regulation horseshoe pits with throwing platforms and back stops

  • A dog park for training and leisure

  • A outdoor basketball halfcourt with painted free throw and three point lines and a ProDunk goal

  • A gaga ball pit

  • Benches for relaxing

  • Custom-painted birdhouses around the property

The first step toward fulfilling the vision of Redeemer Park is nearly complete with the construction of the pavilion. Our vision and prayer is for this park to be a “front porch for the Camden community.” For more information, or if you are interested in investing in this project, please call (252)337-7177 or email us.
