The gifts he gave were that some would be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, some pastors and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until all of us come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to maturity, to the measure of the full stature of Christ. - Ephesians 4:11-13
Our Ministries
Gathering Together
We learn in Acts 2:42 that believers devoted themselves to the life of the church. Here at Redeemer, we strive to grow in our faith together, which includes but involves more than Sunday worship. Check out some of the ways we make that happen.
-
We are working our way through the Anglican Catechism in a casual conversational way. Led by Father Chris on Sundays at 9:15 AM. To Be a Christian: an Anglican Catechism, can be found here.
-
Father Chris leads a study of Paul's letter to the Romans. There are two chances to take part in this study: Wednesdays from 5:15-6:15 PM, and Thursdays from 12-1 PM. Bring your own meal and join us for some fascinating study and discussion.
-
Every Sunday from 9:15-10:00 AM, we offer Sunday School for elementary-aged children, where they learn about God’s Big Story!
Serving One Another
Jesus said that he came not to be served but to serve. Likewise, we at Redeemer believe we are called through love to serve one another, and to use our gifts toward that end. We are always looking to add to the ways we serve one another as well. Here is just a glimpse of all the various opportunities to serve.
-
We make a joyful noise unto the Lord by blending modern praise music, traditional hymns, and choral music.
-
We have a team of devoted church members who ensure that the experience of Holy Communion is uplifting, meaningful, and reverent.
-
This team is responsible for reading Scripture to the people and assisting the priest in the preparation and administration of communion.
-
We are looking for people interested in recording our sermons and monitoring the sound equipment.
-
Youth play an active leadership role in worship through the acolyte ministry, in which they assist the priest by performing ceremonial duties.
-
We have a team who is trained and background checked to ensure your child’s safety and care while they learn about Jesus. We offer this ministry during the 10:30 service for ages birth-9.
-
We have a team of prayer warriors dedicated to lifting you up in prayer before, during, or after the service.
-
We are a spiritual harbor of hospitality, so this team oversees and coordinates social events, and you can be sure that there will be good food.
